Drum roll please! Throw in some trumpets, and you there, ready the fireworks! A release date is upon us!

Sam Pope 3 is due out on Thursday 28th September. (...ahem, or, well you know, thereabouts...)

This deadline's been looming over me like some persisent yet unseen Bond villain, and the answer to your next question is no; "Deadline" would most definitely not be a cool name for a Bond villain, or any villain for that matter. Put the pen down and step away from the fan script. Anyway, Pope 3 is happily titled How to Disappear Completely and charmingly subtitled The Seven Year Itch. A couple of pop culture references there. This story focuses on Sally; not so much the girl next door, as the girl down the road, up the hill and at the observatory where that creepy eponymous Pope guy lives. It's set seven years after the events in issue one and well... I'll let you figure the rest out.

As for site news, I will be endevouring to post a short comic every fortnight, or maybe even weekly if I have nothing else to do. While this will seriously damage the prospects of me getting a decent mark for my dissertation, it will force me to be consistent with something in the world. I'm working on something I overheard whilst in Edinburgh and I'm planning some stuff to fill in the gaps between the early issues of Pope. Yes, this is an internet only thing! Best of all, you don't have to shell out your hard earned pennies, this is totally free, as long as you don't count the mental strain.

There is also other stuff on the horizon but this wouldn't be much of a tease if I told you every thing, now, would it?
