It's Bernard the Budgeri-gar-ar-aaaarr!

I learnt two things this week: how to colour line drawings properly in Photoshop and drawing Budgies is lots of fun.

This is Alison's Budgie. His name is Bernard.

Nice work my good man!

Is there any way for someone who instructs Photoshop for a living to ask what you mean by "colouring in on photoshop properly" without sounding like he doesn't know what he's doing? No? Oh well never mind...

Here he is in the flesh then! How is the epic tome of his many adventures coming along? - Andy, and Gary - do you do that whole lifting the ink off the original layer and colouring on one underneath thing? Like with inversions and marching ants and paint buckets and shit?

Of COURSE I do!

(feverishly notes down what Jack just said for future reference)

cheers gents. In answer to the questions, I do what Jack described, but in channels rather than layers (well lah-dee-dah!) which saves on file size and there's other benefits too which are probably mortal understanding.
